The struggle I’m having with using AI is getting it setup to use in existing applications. For instance, we use an application that interfaces with our reporting tool. However, neither is using AI sophisticated enough to let me get to the details I need. Therefore, I have to download very detailed data, which isn’t necessarily available in reports. Then I have to ask AI to analyze and produce a summary. It is so generic that it doesn’t produce any more meaningful insights. Additionally, I have to edit and dig for more information.
True I might be able to get there with prompting but how is AI saving me time. Also, there’s value to me to be more involved so I know the data and the business.
I need to reconcile this.
