The original purpose for this Blog was to learn about AI and figure out how to leverage it to be a better financial professional. This past week, I found myself using AI a lot, so I decided to make a list. I’ve been using Claude as my primary AI assistant and this is what I’ve used it for:
- Asked for a summary of 5 different SaaS agreements, each identified and summarized separately
- Compare the agreements to other similar SaaS companies agreements and summarize the differences
- Took a list of names and descriptions in the body of an email and had Claude build a spreadsheet with separate columns for names and descriptions and add 3 more columns.to
- Search Slack and Outlook for specific communications about out of office procedures
- I asked Claude to analyze the Blog homepage to improve appearance for more readers.
All were handled quickly. The first two are a little more sensitive in that they were very generalized and were hard to check for accuracy, however they gave me a good understanding of the general content and saved time to read a whole document to find a specific item that I might need to dig into further.
The other tasks were executed efficiently thus saving me time but for a sentence or two.
Claude seems to be the most intuitive of the three that I use (ChatGPT, Copilot and Claude). It is quickly becoming my preference for this reason as well as it’s ability to connect to other applications like Microsoft 365, Slack and Box.
